The idea
Each language is a separate listing with its own limits, and the stores only tell you a field is too long when you paste it. This system keeps every listing in one place, counts the characters as you type, and shows which languages are live, waiting or out of date.
Setup in four steps
- Apps: add each app with its stores and base language.
- Listings: add one row per app, store and language. Paste the name, subtitle or short description, keywords and promotional text.
- Keywords: add the searches you want to rank for and link the listing.
- Delete the sample rows: every sample app name ends in (sample).
Reading Limit check
- Fits: every field is inside the store limit.
- Over: names the first field that is too long. Fix it before you upload.
- Remove spaces after commas: App Store keywords are separated by commas only; each space wastes one of your 100 characters.
Rules that keep this safe
- Byte limits: Apple counts the keyword field in bytes, so accented and Asian characters can take more than one. Leave a margin in those languages.
- Limits change. The playbooks link to the official pages; check them when a store rejects a field.
